Week 25 June 24, 2024
I got sent to Peru!!
Haha, jk, I'm still here in Cub Run heheheh
Hopefully I didn't give you a heart attack Mom. Anyway, this week was great!!I loved it! I'll relax some of the highlights!
It was transfers and me and Elder Paxton are still comps here in Cub Run! Elder Larson left Cub Run B and we have Elder Ulloa here now
Me and Elder Paxton got one of our friends to church, his name is Luis, dude is so down to earth and we weren't even expecting him to come cause all I sent him was a good morning message and how he's been, so that was a mini miracle! He didn't stay the whole time cause I think he had work and his Kids to get back to but good news is that he's interested in coming back with his whole family next week! We're hoping to start teaching them and get them baptized cause they are so nice and down to earth and ready for the gospel!
We went to Panda Express with Hermano Loza on transfer day to welcome Elder Ulloa into the Branch. (Hermano Loza is the best member in the branch cause he buys us Panda every week
We had a member visit this week with a different Luis and his family who are super chill! He wanted to come to English class that same day on Thursday and he showed up, and our old friend Arturo showed up unexpectedly! It was a fire english lesson on buying food at the store and the gym We had our Día del Padres actividad this last Saturday and it was a good turn out as always! We basically helped get all the food out which btw was so good! Latino food is one of my favorite! Some of the dads in the ward and us Elders got up to play musical chairs and I ended up winning at the end, twas very funnyI have the video but can't upload it rip. That activity was a success!
We had a big service activity on Saturday as well all morning into the afternoon with tons of Elders and Sisters from all the over the mission helping give out tons of toys, books, diapers, etc. It was fire! Its also been super hot and humid out into the 90s so I've been dousing myself in sunscreen which has worked out. The whole time I gave out books and directed trafficAnyways, very good and fun week here!
Pensamiento Espíritual
Alma 7:23-24 "And now I would that ye should be humble, and be submissive and gentle; easy to be entreated; full of patience and long-suffering; being temperate in all things; being diligent in keeping the commandments of God at all times; asking for whatsoever things ye stand in need, both spiritual and temporal; always returning thanks unto God for whatsoever things ye do receive. And see that ye have faith, hope, and charity, and then ye will always abound in good works."
If yall do these things, yall will be happy
Alright, have a great week everyone!
Chao!
