Day 210 July 29, 2024

Hey yall, would you look at that, another email! Crazy I'm 1/4 done with my mission so far, been quite the journey! Anyway, gonna try to keep it short here. - Did a bunch of service for the Rodriguez family this last week, literally spent 6 hours on I believe Friday or Thursday, one of those days, it's harder than you think to keep track of which day certain things happen on your mission, but yeah they sure did appreciate that though, we left our car inside the public storage place and couldn't get back in cause it was close so the Cub Run b Elders had to give us a ride back. But it's all good cause we didn't get towed like the other week. -We were going to have a baptism for Damaris on this last Saturday but she canceled a couple hours before the baptism cause she wouldn't be able to come to church on Sunday for work, twas a fat bummer, however, still had baptisms by the other Elders and that was nice to be apart of. Also we're meeting with Damaris tonight and we're gonna help her with her work situation and help her get Sundays off or at least 2 hrs for church in order to take the sacrament and go to classes. - Had a fire lesson with a part member family yesterday and Teresa is going to read the Book of Mormon for real this time and pray about it which is good, hopefully by us coming over a ton we'll be able to help them grow more spiritually as a family and get rid of some bad habits cause her husband alex has a drinking problem, it shall get better. -Also had a super fire english class this last week! Probably the best one! Arturo came again to class and brought us Peruvian ceviche! Was so so flippin good! I'm so excited to go to Perú 🇵🇪 taught a Restoration lesson afterwards with a new friend and twas good, gave him a book of mormon (best book on earth). That was the week pretty much, pretty good week. Today for Pday, all the Elders bought RC cars and made a track of chairs at the church and raced for a couple hrs, we also got taco bell! So fuego 🔥 Spiritual thought: Mosiah 27:24-26 "For, said he, I have repented of my sins, and have been redeemed of the Lord; behold I am born of the Spirit. Hey yall, back at it again as usual, pretty slow week but also good! -Had interviews with President Macpherson at the mission home after district council this last Wednesday, and they went super well! It's pretty cool to just wait a couple of minutes for your interview as you see Elder Rasbands grandkids messing around with their poodle dog lol. Their family is so righteous and awesome! Their son got set apart by Elder Rasband himself and is leaving in like 2 days to Costa Rica! We talked about my situation with my visa still on if I'm ready to go and he told me that it's my choice whether I want to stay here or go to Perú. Obviously Perú but I still was unsure since if it was the right time or not. He told me to pray about it what would be the best decision cause he doesn't want me in a limbo state anymore, me too lol. Week 25 June 24, 2024

I got sent to Peru!! Haha, jk, I'm still here in Cub Run heheheh Hopefully I didn't give you a heart attack Mom. Anyway, this week was great!!I loved it! I'll relax some of the highlights! It was transfers and me and Elder Paxton are still comps here in Cub Run! Elder Larson left Cub Run B and we have Elder Ulloa here now Me and Elder Paxton got one of our friends to church, his name is Luis, dude is so down to earth and we weren't even expecting him to come cause all I sent him was a good morning message and how he's been, so that was a mini miracle! He didn't stay the whole time cause I think he had work and his Kids to get back to but good news is that he's interested in coming back with his whole family next week! We're hoping to start teaching them and get them baptized cause they are so nice and down to earth and ready for the gospel! Week 26, July 1 2024. New President

Hey yall, I'm chillin out here in DC still. Here's the deets of the past week. Found 4 new Venezuelan friends in the trailers through literal coordination from God, It was pretty sick, we had a fire Spirit filled lesson with them on the restoration. They have lots of potential but they just need to set up with us again and respond to our messages instead of just read them.We got 5 friends to church! Luis came back again with a family member this time, now we just need to find a way to teach him when he has time off from work through out the week. We're probably gonna have to just teach him through videocall or texts somehow. Fue bueno! Also, we saw William Starley at church with his family(aka Elder Starley) that was sick! It was a great reunión afterwards and it was good seeing one of the most legendary Elders to grace the mission.
