Surprise email! Reassigned to Washington DC South mission. Feb 2 2024

Surprise Email!! Follow up email from my last one, I literally got my temporary reassignment!I've been reassigned to the Washington DC South Mission!! Woooooooo! I'm so hyped and excited! I'm guessing I'll be there for a couple months waiting for my Peru Visa That California dream was a bust its up to my mission president whether I'll be speaking English or Spanish. Man I'm excited! Just had to let yall know (; DC here we come!

Week 24 June 17, 2024. What a week!

Hey yall! I forgot to send my email today so I'm just writing it really quick, and will give you the highlights.This past week was pretty good and normalWent on exchanges with Elder Mauseth my first companion and trainer, was super fun. We got into a water fight at the apartment and was completely soaked by the end of it We had English classes at the church after that but no one showed up. Rip. Had exchanges with Elder Loose which was super fun also, I was able to get on bikes again and relive the first couple of months on the mission which was refreshing, although it's extremely hot and humid outside now so yeahhhhh. It was also fun cause I got to take the lead in the companionship and contacts that day even though I wasn't in my area. Super fun! January 19, 2024 2nd Week!

Hey Mom! I hope you're not to worried about me, everything here has been great at the MTC, it's been quite the adjustment and been hard but nonetheless, it's awesome to be an Elder haha. I've just been going to my classes with Hermana Harris, Hermana Merrill, and Hermano Avarell.  Hermana Harris is my Gospel doctrine teacher, hermana Merrill is our spanish teacher although we are getting a new spanish teacher because we're going into full spanish immersion starting tomorrow which is crazy lol. Hermano avarell is also another one of our gospel teachers, he's pretty cool. My espanol has been getting better, although it's really choppy still. I can recite the First Vision and Missionary purpose in Spanish, it's actually not that hard. I can sort've pray in Spanish too but the hard part is connecting all the words together correctly and using the right form and conjugation for each word, it's harder than I thought it was lol, but I know I'll get ...

Hey Mom, it was great seeing you over videochat (: even though it's been only 2-3 days. The MTC is awesome! I'm having a lot of fun doing all my classes and being able to be with my district, they're really cool. The transition was hard cause I'm not used to it right now but it was cool meeting Elder Mills and his uncles haha. They were super nice and cool, and also for giving me a ride from the airport. One of his uncles served in resistencia Argentina mission with Brady LOL, which i thought was really cool. He didn't know him very well but they saw each other sometimes and they're friends on Facebook still. It was very spiritual on the first day at the MTC and with all the intro stuff, it was really cool meeting the branch presidency, they're super nice and very on top of things.
