Last Email of the MTC 9 Feb 2024

Hello Family and Friends! I'm on my last week of the MTC which is crazy! I'm so ready for the field lol. This email will probably be kinda shorter than the other ones since we sortve do the same things here at the MTC and I've only got about 10-15 min to write.This week was good, still hard too cause being a missionary has very high standards and I often find myself feeling exhausted or tired physically, and mentally. Other than that, I'm loving it (: Me and my district have started our SYL two days ago and that means, Speak Your Language. We've gone 100% for the last week for the MTC til we go out to the field everywhere we go and it's been difficult, as you would Imagine. My Spanish is getting better and better day by day the more practice i have in class and in my study, and just interacting with my district in general. I know these are usually the stages on a mission that are meant to be hard just cause you're going through a lot of hard work and adjustment and adopting a new lifestyle. I do love the strictness of the schedule though because it keeps me busy and working hard and pushing myself, there's never not something to do haha. We've been going to the gym everyday also and it's a grind but it's so fun cause we play knockout in basketball, then pickelball, volleyball, etc. It's also keeping me up on my exercise which is really good The devotional this last Tuesday was as good as always and very spiritual, I can't remember the names of who spoke but just know it was really good haha.Today we also went to the temple to do an endowment and that's always greatand very spiritual (: It's gonna be cool to be able to do that in DC when I get the chance. I'm so excited for Washington DC! It's going to be an adventure! I can't wait to meet my mission president and my new trainer companion! I know it's beautiful down there with the cherry blossom trees and I know some of my family is in that relative area haha. I'm pumped! By then I'm expecting my visa to come in a couple months and then I'll be off to Peru I'm so excited to share the gospel and hopefully bring love and joy to the people I serve (:Well, my next email I'll be in DC so hasta luego MTC, I'll keep yall updated as always every week, love you all! Hey yall, back at it again as usual, pretty slow week but also good! -Had interviews with President Macpherson at the mission home after district council this last Wednesday, and they went super well! It's pretty cool to just wait a couple of minutes for your interview as you see Elder Rasbands grandkids messing around with their poodle dog lol. Their family is so righteous and awesome! Their son got set apart by Elder Rasband himself and is leaving in like 2 days to Costa Rica! We talked about my situation with my visa still on if I'm ready to go and he told me that it's my choice whether I want to stay here or go to Perú. Obviously Perú but I still was unsure since if it was the right time or not. He told me to pray about it what would be the best decision cause he doesn't want me in a limbo state anymore, me too lol. Week 25 June 24, 2024

I got sent to Peru!! Haha, jk, I'm still here in Cub Run heheheh Hopefully I didn't give you a heart attack Mom. Anyway, this week was great!!I loved it! I'll relax some of the highlights! It was transfers and me and Elder Paxton are still comps here in Cub Run! Elder Larson left Cub Run B and we have Elder Ulloa here now Me and Elder Paxton got one of our friends to church, his name is Luis, dude is so down to earth and we weren't even expecting him to come cause all I sent him was a good morning message and how he's been, so that was a mini miracle! He didn't stay the whole time cause I think he had work and his Kids to get back to but good news is that he's interested in coming back with his whole family next week! We're hoping to start teaching them and get them baptized cause they are so nice and down to earth and ready for the gospel! Week 26, July 1 2024. New President

Hey yall, I'm chillin out here in DC still. Here's the deets of the past week. Found 4 new Venezuelan friends in the trailers through literal coordination from God, It was pretty sick, we had a fire Spirit filled lesson with them on the restoration. They have lots of potential but they just need to set up with us again and respond to our messages instead of just read them.We got 5 friends to church! Luis came back again with a family member this time, now we just need to find a way to teach him when he has time off from work through out the week. We're probably gonna have to just teach him through videocall or texts somehow. Fue bueno! Also, we saw William Starley at church with his family(aka Elder Starley) that was sick! It was a great reunión afterwards and it was good seeing one of the most legendary Elders to grace the mission.
