Yoooooo, wassup peeps! 

Hows everyone doing? (: 

Had a pretty good week overall here in Chantilly  

Nothing to crazy happened but I'll give ya the highlights! 

I was able to go on exchanges with Elder Loose who's still in his training, and it went great actually! I wanted to try out a new area so we decided to go to Sudley. We went to our first neighborhood to start finding and this old guy across the road in his driveway yelled and asked us if we were Mormons. I then went on to say that Mormon was a nick name for the Church and then he just cut me off and yelled at us that there's no solicitors allowed here and you need to leave. Lol. Dude was a veteran cause I saw his hat and I thanked him for his service right after that and he said, "Ok!" Haha, white people are a lot more mean than latinos I'll say that, oh and he got in his car after that and told us to read the Book of revelations and that we were wrong or something lol. I always love getting rejected or Bashed cause I think it's funny and it honestly doesnt phase me cause I know were doing the Lords work  Anyway we taught a lesson to a yellow point named Moses, he was pretty cool guy and we started the lesson in his backyard and he asked why we don't drink coffee and stuff like that. So I was able to teach the Word of Wisdom for the first time which was cool and he seemed to understand that but then we got into the Restoration and it looked like he started to get confused thinking that Joseph Smith was with the 12 Apostles on the earth, whoops we corrected that and  we tried to make it as simple as possible, but it seemed like he was more aimed to ask us questions then be super interested, we left him with a pamphlet and that was that. We were able to teach the Restoration in English to this other lady who was a friend and hopefully she will want to learn more, we left her with a Book of Mormón and a Restoration pamphlet  twas a good day.

We had district council as usual and had jarrito drinks there which was fire, we played this among us type finding game which was interesting, lol, always fun to act like bashing latinos and role play with other missionaries (:

We had a car wash this week at the church for our branch and it was really fun! I didn't get sunburnt or anything cause i was smart and lathered myself, it was a really good turn out! We had like 30+ cars to clean, we mainly just dried the cars after some of the members and youth washed them. They ended up raising over $1000! There were also hot dogs and lemonade 

Then my favorite part which was on Saturday happened this week! Me and Elder Paxton were off to the trailers again to go finding which is where we usually go, and for some reason I've been able to really focus on the Spirit and be able to feel it more strongly throughout the day and I think this was the same day we had the car wash just more in the evening. Elder Paxton was kinda tired and a bit discouraged just cause it can get rough out here sometimes or the motivation isn't there. But I was just honestly focusing on the positive. 

Anyway we offer a mighty prayer and go to the trailers, we found like two yellow points and seemed like they might have potential, (btw this trailer park is full of latinos all the time), afterwards we had a lesson with Alberto and everytime we just read and study a chapter out of the Book of Mormón every week cause he can't read very well, he's a little old, we actually taught him about the Word of wisdom and I shared D&C 89 last couple of verses, and it was a pretty good lesson! After this we left his trailer and just started finding again and we saw this older guy in a blue shirt walking and we introduced ourselves in Spanish, and he didn't say much or waved us off, then we spoke English and he kinda replied but we couldn't hear him from across the street, so we crossed and turns out this guy is Hindu and definitely wasn't interested in our religion, but we got to know him and just started walking with him, it was funny cause he was like, "Do you guys go to college or something?" Then we said "no just this for now, just preaching the Gospel" Then he was like "You guys should get an education, it's important" lol we told him we would go to college afterwards. Anyway we get to the entrance of the trailers and we're just still talking to "Sing" that was his name lol. Then all of a sudden this car pulls up with this Latino guy driving by himself and then Sing goes over and starts talking with him, at this point we were just confused and we thought he was Sings Uber driver or friend, but then Sing is like "Hey! This guy wants to talk to you!" So we went over then Sing says goodbye and walks away, this Latino guy tells us to get in the car and he was just looking at us with a intimidating stare on his face  we were like, what the fetch hahaha, we told him we couldn't get in but we could keep talking with him outside the car and he said Ok. He pulls off the road and Parks next to us close to some house and ended up telling us he was baptized already in Perú, but he was the only one in his family who got baptized and his family didn't like that apparently, he moved here to the US with his wife to start a new life, but he got a divorce with his wife and he's addicted to alcohol, we were just shocked by this. It started raining really hard at this point and told us to get in again and we did lol. He had Bud Lights in the back and was just telling us about his hard time, we were just supporting him and reassuring him that there's hope through Jesus Christ and we invited him to come to church with us the next day. He drove us back to our car which was close and we said a prayer with him and afterwards he was just balling his eyes out. We got his contact information and we're in contact with him now, he hugged and thanked us and left. Honestly such a beautiful miracle we had and I just felt the Spirit so strong with Elder Paxton. So cool how God works with others to lead us to other people who need our help. He is in the details, I know that for sure. So cool. 

Anyways sorry for the long email haha, just had to tell yall 

Hope yall are doing great in life! Remember God loves you and wants you to turn to Him and His son Jesus Christ! Rely and exercise faith in Them and you can't go wrong in this life and you will be happier!
