Hey Family and Friends! I literally couldn't finish my last email for last week cause i was going all around being busy and stuff so I'm just gonna update yall real quick and make these emails short lol. This last week was great! We had a Elder Renlund from the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles come and speak to our mission which was a crazy awesome opportunity! We all got to shake Elder Renlunds hand! It was so dope! I felt like his power was coursing through my veins hahah! He delivered such a good talk/Q&A to all of us missionaries and so did Sister Renlund, I'll never forget it Me and my companion Elder Mauseth and I have been doing our usual day to day missionary work by trying to invite everyone to church while we're finding and trying to visit people who haven't been taught in a while. We're kindve trying to restart the area and want to get at least a baptism in March. Also DC btw is great! I'm in the Occoquan River area in our Spanish Zone and we just speak Spanish lol. Our ward is all Latino and they're super nice and friendly! It's crazy being in just a Spanish ward cause I'm just a white American guy lol. I still don't understand what's really going on when people speak Spanish, it's only a little bit right now but I know I just gotta give myself time to learn. We also started riding our bikes this week and we had dinner with one of the Spanish families in our ward. They were super nice.  Elder Mauseths bike is like broken, some parts don't work and his tire deflates and has to constantly fill it up, he's getting it fixed though. I don't mind riding bikes but It can get sketchy sometimes when we're constantly riding so close to the highway the entire time I'm surprised how many People here are from El Salvador, Bolivia, and Peru. I just didn't expect it lol. There's also churches everywhere haha. Me and Elder Mauseth last week went to Elm Farm which is like a sketchy Trailer park lol, apparently there's lots of stories, we were visiting an inactive family and actually got invited inside which was cool. It really is crazy how you just go straight into the mission field and already start going into people's homes and already have to speak Spanish but it'll come.It is definitely cool walking around trying to visit people and being able to invite people to Church no matter who it is on the street or bus or anywhere. We did get into a conversation with this guy on the bus going to Elm Farm and we just started talking about religion and how he has read all the gospels.Anyway, I'm doing alright, the mission is quite the transition but with Faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, everything is possible (: Matthew 7:7 ¶ "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you"Love you all, hope all is going well at home with yall and your live I'll try to be better with emails lol. PEACE Elder Fielding
