Another week has passed! April 15, 2024

Yo wassup everyone! Another week down in the field
🙌 honestly I'm vibing with it more and more, fosho. Anyway this week was fuego for a lot of reasons.

We met this cool guy named Wab outside of this Safeway in our area and dude is so chill, we were doing our contacts on the bench and he just came up to us and telling us how he's had problems with drugs in his life and hows he's from Afghanistan and speaks farsi fluently, he told us we were so nice to him and he loves talking about things and being real with people. So he's definitely one of our homies now. We started teaching this family this week of a mom and her two sons and her sons just play video games all day and don't give much respect to their mom which I felt bad for her. But it was cool cause Brandon her son had questions to us about God and they spoke English so we basically taught them the first half of the Plan of Salvation which was cool. Hopefully they can read the Book of Mormón and pray about it so we can have them progress. I'm definitely more confident in my Spanish and members are telling me I'm getting better which is fuego 🔥 It was fast and testimony meeting this week and I bore mine in Spanish, and so did Elder Perez. I know the Spirit is real cause I've felt it very strongly this week in certain experiences just talking and teaching to people about the Restoration and Jesus Christ, it really is a special pleasure to do this everyday 🙏 🫡  I've also felt like my prayers are more sincere to my Heavenly Father than they ever have been this week, it just feels like He's always got my back through everything which is honestly such a comforting feeling. I invite you all to have more sincere prayers with Heavenly Father this week and not make it sound like a shopping list.

Another thing this week, my bike is absolutely atrocious lololol, the brakes are super worn out, the casket and chain are bad, I have no emergency brake, AND the right  pedal broke 😅  but luckily Elder Perez picked up his bike today from the shop so I can go back to borrowing Elder Perez-Riveras bike WOOOOOO! Hasta la vista to that piece of work.

We had a great P-Day today, we played volleyball with the Hermanas at the Leyselvania Park, and I made Banana Bread believe it or not, never thought Id see the day when I'd bake something lol and it tasted good 😀

Anyway. Life's good man! Hopefully my visa for Perú comes soon but if not, I'll just keep serving here! Peace!
