2nd week in DC! March 4, 2024

Hello Family and Friends! 


Can't believe it's already March lol. I always feel like I can't talk about everything that happens in the week since there's so much that we do each day haha.

This week was solid, there wasn't anything crazy but me and my companion had a little fun this week. We've just been making our Facebook stories to try to share the gospel in that way and let's just say we went a little airborne (; 

We actually did our exchanges this week with the ZLs Elder Starley and Elder Duncan in our zone, they are so cool! I was with Elder Starley and as soon as we started to go find and visit people in this trailer park we usually go to, we were able to share some messages to people just by bearing our testimonies and teaching about the Book of Mormón all in Spanish, it was so cool! The spirit was strong, and I think it was my first actual time teaching real people in Spanish even though my Spanish is broken haha. We also were able to teach an inactive member which was really also my first lesson in Spanish which was also cool, we were able to invite him to church. It's amazing what you can achieve by relying on the Lord fully, he really does magnify your efforts when you have complete faith and trust in Him.

For fast Sunday yesterday too I also was able to bear my testimony for the first time over the pulpit to our Spanish ward in spanish which wasn't actually too bad haha. Some of the ward was telling me I had a good testimony 🙌 which was sick! I also was able to be apart of our first baptism last night for Alejandra! The Spanish sisters taught her and Elder Mauseth baptized her, it was really special and she had a sweet testimony, I was able to participate with confirming the Holy Ghost and saying the closing prayer (: 

Other than that it's just been the same old  stuff week after week, walking around finding, doing contacts, teaching when we can, learning Spanish.  it seems like times flying in a way now that I'm done with 2 months! Woooo!😄

Hey yall, back at it again as usual, pretty slow week but also good! -Had interviews with President Macpherson at the mission home after district council this last Wednesday, and they went super well! It's pretty cool to just wait a couple of minutes for your interview as you see Elder Rasbands grandkids messing around with their poodle dog lol. Their family is so righteous and awesome! Their son got set apart by Elder Rasband himself and is leaving in like 2 days to Costa Rica! We talked about my situation with my visa still on if I'm ready to go and he told me that it's my choice whether I want to stay here or go to Perú. Obviously Perú but I still was unsure since if it was the right time or not. He told me to pray about it what would be the best decision cause he doesn't want me in a limbo state anymore, me too lol. Week 25 June 24, 2024

I got sent to Peru!! Haha, jk, I'm still here in Cub Run heheheh Hopefully I didn't give you a heart attack Mom. Anyway, this week was great!!I loved it! I'll relax some of the highlights! It was transfers and me and Elder Paxton are still comps here in Cub Run! Elder Larson left Cub Run B and we have Elder Ulloa here now Me and Elder Paxton got one of our friends to church, his name is Luis, dude is so down to earth and we weren't even expecting him to come cause all I sent him was a good morning message and how he's been, so that was a mini miracle! He didn't stay the whole time cause I think he had work and his Kids to get back to but good news is that he's interested in coming back with his whole family next week! We're hoping to start teaching them and get them baptized cause they are so nice and down to earth and ready for the gospel! Week 26, July 1 2024. New President

Hey yall, I'm chillin out here in DC still. Here's the deets of the past week. Found 4 new Venezuelan friends in the trailers through literal coordination from God, It was pretty sick, we had a fire Spirit filled lesson with them on the restoration. They have lots of potential but they just need to set up with us again and respond to our messages instead of just read them.We got 5 friends to church! Luis came back again with a family member this time, now we just need to find a way to teach him when he has time off from work through out the week. We're probably gonna have to just teach him through videocall or texts somehow. Fue bueno! Also, we saw William Starley at church with his family(aka Elder Starley) that was sick! It was a great reunión afterwards and it was good seeing one of the most legendary Elders to grace the mission.
